Curriculum Vitae
Philipp-Julian Ruf studied Hospitality Management at Hotelschool The Hague and graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Before his studies he completed an apprenticeship as a Restaurant Expert. Furthermore, he has gained practical experience during internships at Hospitality consultancy companies as well as student assistant positions. Currently he he is doing his Ph.D., after finishing his master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and SME Management at the University of Siegen with distinction in October 2017. Furthermore he is a graduate research assistant at the SME Graduate School and working for the Chair of Entrepreneurship, Family Business and Business Succession of the University of Siegen. His research is focused on strategic management, Family Businesses, SMEs and their apparent competitive advantage.
